Our Philosophy
Hello, I'm Melanie.
For more than 10 years, I have had the privilege of supporting families during some of life's most challenging moments, helping them create meaningful ceremonies that celebrate the lives of those they love.
I have also completed funeral celebrant training, giving me the knowledge, sensitivity and practical understanding needed to guide families through the planning of a farewell with care and confidence.
I believe every person has a unique story, and every farewell should reflect that story in a genuine and personal way. Taking the time to listen, understand your wishes, and learn about your loved one allows me to create a ceremony that feels authentic, heartfelt and memorable.
Families often tell me they appreciate my calm nature, compassionate approach and ability to guide them through the planning process with reassurance and care. My goal is to ease some of the stress during a difficult time, allowing you to focus on what matters most – honouring your loved one and sharing memories with family and friends.

How much input can our family have in the ceremony?
As much as you would like. Every ceremony is personalised and developed in consultation with your family. You can choose to include stories, readings, poems, music, family tributes and other meaningful elements.
Can you work alongside our chosen funeral director?
Absolutely. Melanie regularly works alongside funeral directors and other service providers to ensure everything runs smoothly while creating a ceremony that reflects your family's wishes.
Do you offer memorial services after a funeral has taken place?
Yes. Memorial services can be held days, weeks or even months after a passing and can take place at a venue, private property, beach, park or another meaningful location.
What is included in your celebrant services?
Services typically include a family consultation, personalised ceremony writing, guidance with readings and music, professional ceremony presentation, coordination with service providers and ongoing support throughout the planning process.
